Explanation of the posters

These data flow diagrams are showing the high and low levels of how a shop would function when selling a product. The high level diagram is showing the basic functions where as the low level is more detailed. The low level contains databases (D1, D2 etc) where information is stored about a particular thing.

What is going on in the diagrams that the shop is trying to sell a product to a customer. The customer will have to give their details to the company and what they will want to buy. The company will store this information and use it to show what products are being sold and whether a customer is returning to the shop or not. The manager receives reports to see how the company is doing.
The databases in the company will hold information received that then can be accessed by other areas in the company. A lot of the databases are accessed so that a report can be constructed for the manager.
